When did you apply nitrogen? Last fall? In early April?
Our 22 acre on-farm demo plot in Farnhamville, Iowa has corn growing in V10/V11 stage which will need about 130-160 lbs of N in the next 3 weeks; 7 lbs per acre per day. Our trial shows corn with and without stabilizers to determine impact on yield potential.
Stabilizers are important for keeping nitrogen readily-available for your rapidly growing corn crop. Here’s a video refresher on the science on HOW and WHY stabilizers are important. https://youtu.be/M5HEl-OjyAY
