AMES, IOWA (April 1, 2021) – Farmer-owned Landus is celebrating its corporate anniversary today. It has been five years since the two legacy entities of Farmers’ Cooperative and West Central merged to form Landus, Iowa’s largest agricultural cooperative.
Significant milestones have been achieved since 2016. Highlights over the years include:
- Multiple facility updates, including major renovations at the Ralston and Rake locations
- Opening of the Beef Feed Center in Jefferson
- Launch of Landus-branded soybean seed, AcreEdge
- Large agronomy fleet upgrades
- Implementation of the customer portal and mobile app
- Record SoyPlus® manufacturing plant soybean crush
Under the new leadership of Matt Carstens, President & CEO, and guided by the Landus Growth and Performance Strategy, the last twelve months have been witness to an unprecedented pace of advancement at Landus.
