At the end of the short holiday week we saw nearby corn and beans both close down 3 cents. Trading lower was a recurring theme the last four days as corn closed down 14 ¼ on the week and beans regressed 11 ¼ as well. Positive weather reports and shaky demand continues to pressure both corn and soybeans markets. Even China and the U.S. agreeing to meet in October to discuss a trade agreement wasn’t enough to get the Bulls fired up. A trade resolution or a cooler weather outlook are the only things that will give the market any upward momentum at this point. Do find out more about what happened in the market this week tune in to the Bull Bear Banter Podcast!
