Grains trading slightly higher this morning with quiet news headlines ahead of tomorrow’s USDA WASDE report. The report will be released at 11 am with updated production and yield values as well as ending stocks. The weather outlook remains active over the next 48 hours with rains finally coming to an end into the early part of the weekend. The 6 to 10-day outlook is mostly quiet with any rainfall being light and favoring the eastern Midwest. The 11 to 16-day outlook has below average precipitation for most of the Plains and Midwest. Exports remain strong as more bean sales to China were reported this morning. Traders will most likely be positioning funds today ahead of the report tomorrow.
