Morning Comments November 27, 2019

Opening calls:
Corn steady to 1 cent better
Soybeans 2 to 4 cents better

The soybean market fell yesterday after weakness in the South American currencies, and the uncertainty of the U.S./Chinese trade. The soybean market is trading higher this morning ahead of the holiday tomorrow. The corn market also closed lower yesterday but is trading higher this morning as well. This morning we will see the release of the EIA's weekly ethanol production and stock reports.

As a reminder, the CBOT will be closed tomorrow and will have shortened hours on Friday for Thanksgiving. All Landus Cooperative locations will also be closed in observance of the holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving!
