Opening Calls:

Corn steady to down 1 

Beans up 2 to 3 

Corn is trading steady this morning and beans are up slightly. Not much for fresh news to report or drive the markets up or down. Bulls are pointing to an improvement in weekly ethanol production, but bears are looking to how much we are behind last year. Bears are starting to point out that Brazilian beans will become available early in February, and the U.S window of selling is closing quickly. China lifted a five-year ban on U.S. poultry as African Swine Fever has left China with a shortage of meat.
