Grain Marketing

Opening calls:

Corn: 4 cents lower

Beans: 5 cents lower

Good morning!

Grains trading lower this morning after a rebound yesterday due to technicals and fund movement. The coronavirus continues to put pressure on the markets and outside equities as current cases currently stand at 96,644 with 3,308 deaths. U.S. cases stand at 160 with 11 deaths. Quiet headlines prevail as traders continue to watch anything new with the virus and updates on acre estimates. Yesterday U.S. Ag Secretary Perdue said they are expecting China to start buying U.S. soybeans in “late spring into summer”, as part of its agreed-upon purchases. Any good demand news will be positive to the trade right now.

Have a good day!
