Corn: down 2 to 3
Beans: Down 3 to 4
Corn is down this morning due to strength in the U.S. dollar, lack of Chinese demand and weather. The forecast is calling for decent rainfall next week which will set up the start to good pollination. New crop corn looks to be making its way down without some change to fundamentals soon and anticipated farmer selling.
Beans are also trading lower this morning ahead of next week's USDA stocks & acreage reports on June 30th. Good weather and great crop condition ratings don’t leave much reason to buy beans without significant Chinese buying.
Please let us know if you’d like to get some offers in ahead of Tuesday’s USDA report.
