Landus Cooperative Flag 2016

Opening Calls:

Corn: Up 8 cents

Soybeans: Up 13 cents

The grain markets have been and continue to be supported by the forecasted cold and wet weather throughout most of the corn belt. Today we will see the release of another planting progress report at 3p.m. Corn planting is expected to move from 83% to the lower 90’s and soybeans are expected to move from 60% to 80% planted. Crop conditions will also begin to tell a story and lead the markets as the focus shifts to the conditions of the corn and soybean crop across the country. With markets trading higher again today, this is a great opportunity to talk with your Grain Marketing Advisor to make a sale, or put in a firm offer.
