Grains trading higher this morning with corn up a penny and soybeans 5 cents higher. Beans leading the way again today as trade relations with China remain optimistic. We begin a new trade week with the government still shut down, and no sign of a resolution anytime soon. On Friday, the USDA stated the WASDE report set to be released on Friday will be delayed. This leaves for quiet news in the market space. However, traders are keeping an eye on South American weather as wet conditions in Brazil and dry conditions in Argentina are putting a damper on the crops.
As the bean market is slowly climbing a little right now, consider putting in some offers for your beans that are on storage/price later, or at home!
